This hardwood block stores up to eight kitchen knives, a sharpening steel, and kitchen scissors within reach on the counter while protecting knife edges from the nicking they would suffer in a drawer. The block is slanted to provide easy access to knife handles and has rubber feet to protect the counter surface.
