Oak and Walnut Steak Knife Block, Oak and Walnut

This layered wooden steak knife block is available in your choice of cherry and walnut or oak and walnut. An attractive way to display your steak knives right at your kitchen or dining table. Handcrafted by Bob and Betsy St. Clair of A Gift of Wood, each knife block has six slots and is made from solid Wisconsin hardwoods. The block measures 6 1/2 inches high, 4 inches wide, and 3 inches thick. It is ideal for most steak knife sets and will keep them safe and handy on your table. All knife slots are 1/8 by 7/8 in. and extend the length of the block. As with all our blocks, a clear lacquer varnish ensures a long-lasting, durable finish. Felt dots on the bottom keep your table surface from being scratched. Makes a great gift! Please note that no stain is used on any of our wood pieces. All woods are shown in their natural colors and are finished with a clear lacquer. The lacquer does not change the natural color of the wood. Cherry will naturally darken with age and become a deeper red. Walnut is a deep brown, and red oak is a light tan.
